An approximately 3000 SF beach house has been gutted and reconfigured. The existing building had accrued from a series of illogical additions that did not take advantage of the site, its orientation and views. Entrance by car and overall circulation were reconceived, ceilings raised, and all finished surfaces replaced. A new open, double-height, glazed stairwell faces west to catch the ocean breezes.
